Mozilla 1.9 running on Windows Mobile

Aleks, Brad, and I have been working together on getting the Mozilla 1.9 codebase working on Windows Mobile. Tonight, we managed to get something interesting enough to take a screenshots of:

So, WinEmbed is basically a testing application and is by no means a User Interface for the masses (really — don’t even look at it — just look at the pretty text and images).

Brad sent me this image of xulrunner working on Windows Mobile:

As all things Mozilla, we are doing all of this work in the open and, of course, under open source licensing. If you are interested in a browser for windows mobile, get involved! Join us on #mobile on irc.mozilla.org, or check out the code.

Any chance of Mozilla/Firefox/Minimo being ported to Symbian Series 60?

I don’t think Mozilla have ever been known as Microsoft fanboys and cross-platform compatibility has always been a key appeal of their products. Yet Minimo is only available on MS Windows Mobile and no versions for alternative platforms seem to be in sight.
